Universal Testing Machine 600kN Electro-Hydraulic Servo Control

Universal Testing Machine 600kN Servo Hydraulic is used for the mechanic's property test such as the tensile, bending, compression, etc to various metallic and non-metallic materials. The testers have been developed according to BS EN 10002-1, ISO 7500-1 & ASTM A370 “Metal Tensile Test Method” with the adoption of the electro-hydraulic servo control and electronic measurement. It can automatically process the test result for statistical purposes and print default or user-defined test reports.

Universal Testing Machine 600kN uses the micro-computer automatic data collection and processing, real-time display of the test data and curves. It has functions such as unlimited storage of test results in the computer, printing the test results and curves, processing the batch test result report, managing the database, and so on. It also has a network interface. It can automatically seek the multiple technical parameters such as elastic module E upper yield strength ReH, lower yield strength REL, stipulated non-proportional elongation intensity Rr, tensile strength Rm, stipulated total elongation intensity Rt, yield point percentage elongation, etc.

Test Procedure for Universal Testing Machine 600kN Electro-Hydraulic Servo Control

  1. Preparation: Set up the UTM according to manufacturer guidelines. Ensure safety precautions are in place, including emergency stop buttons and safety guards. Verify the testing area is clear.
  2. Sample Preparation: Prepare the specimen following testing requirements. Ensure it's clean, defect-free, and properly aligned with grips/fixtures.
  3. Setting Up Test Parameters: Enter test details (e.g., test type, speed, control) into the UTM's interface.
  4. Loading the Specimen: Securely place the specimen between grips/fixtures. Align it carefully to prevent premature failure.
  5. Initiating the Test: Start the test using the UTM's interface. Monitor for any irregularities.
  6. Data Collection: Allow the UTM to collect data (e.g., load, displacement, time). Ensure accurate data recording.
  7. Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze collected data to determine mechanical properties. Calculate parameters like tensile strength, yield strength, etc.
  8. Reporting: Document test results and observations. Prepare a detailed report with graphs and tables.
  9. Post-Test Procedures: Safely remove the specimen from the UTM. Shut down the UTM properly. Clean and maintain the UTM as needed.
  10. Quality Assurance: Regularly calibrate and maintain the UTM for accuracy. Follow quality assurance procedures.
