Circular Shakers
Circular Sieve Shakers employ a straightforward motion on a flat, osculating plane. This motion ensures particles are uniformly spread across most sieve surfaces, falling through openings randomly. These units are suitable for coarser, free-flowing materials ranging from 2-1/2in to No. 100 (50mm to 150μm).
Key Features
- Efficient Sieve Separation: Each variant utilizes a lateral motion moving to and fro, paired with vertical and tilting motions, creating an orbit-like movement of the test specimen on the sieve cloth. This ensures particles interact with the entire mesh area, facilitating rapid and precise size separation. While primarily recommended for No. 4 to No. 200 (4.75mm to 75μm) materials, they can accomm odate larger sizes based on specific sieve loading and sample quantity requirements.
- Exclusive EZ-Clamp System: Featuring NL Scientific's innovative EZ-Clamp system, these shakers swiftly and safely fasten sieves for the testing process. The clamping mechanism is intuitive and easily adjustable, ensuring the stack remains stable during operations. Once the test is complete, removing the stack is hassle- free, and the clamps remain in position for the subsequent test without the need for re-adjustment.
- Rugged Design and User-Friendly Features: All mechanical and electrical components should be sealed in a robust steel casing covered paint and equipped with rubber footing, providing stability during operation. The units can stand freely or be securely mounted using the provided bottom-end flange holes.
- Timer Options:
SS-14D Series: Equipped with NL Scientific’s digital countdown timer, displaying operations accurately timed up to ninety-nine minutes with a stop function and options that can be chosen that users can customize for increased flexibility.
SS-15 Series: Available with a traditional 15-minute spring-wound mechanical timer for improved repeatability and continuous running option, or the SS-15D model featuring NL Scientific’s digital countdown timer for accurate timing and operation with just a single press of a button.
